Course/Awards

10K Course Description (Runners will be timed using Capital Running Company's ChronoTrack timing system)

The 10K (6.2 miles) USATF Certified VA course VA08033RT will consist of running/walking around Patriot Circle three times with a loop through a small parking area near the circle and start/finish line (second and third lap only).  The first lap will consist of running around parking lot H before returning to Patriot Circle to complete the other laps.

Fun Run/Survivor's Circle of Hope Course Description

This course, approximately 1/4 mile,  starts at the 10K start line and goes in the opposite direction towards Patriot Circle.  Individuals will turn left onto Patriot Circle and then turn left on to Aquia Drive.  All participants will end near the start of the 10K. 

However, participants can run/walk 1 or 2 miles…the choice is yours!  The 10K run will be timed.

Awards

An award ceremony will follow the 10K Run/Walk at approximately 10:45 AM.  Top three male and female finishers will each receive: $100 (1st Place), $75 (2nd Place), $50 (3rd Place). Top male & female finishers in the following age categories will each receive unique prizes: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.  Awards will be based on "clock time" in the 10K Run.  An award will also be given to the top male and female survivor. No duplicate awards.

An All Fun Run and Survivor's Circle of Hope participants will receive a commemorative award for their accomplishment at the finish area.
