Course Description
The 8K
(4.97 miles) USATF Certified VA-04023-RT course will consist of
running/walking around Patriot Circle three times. For those
interested in a shorter run/walk, there will be a “Survivors’ Circle
of Hope” course. This course begins with the 8K course and circles
back to the finish line (approximately 1/4 mile). However,
participants can run/walk 1 or 2 miles…the choice is yours!
The 8K run will be timed by Pacers. |

Awards
An award ceremony
will follow the 8K Run/Walk at approximately 10:00 AM. Top three
male and female finishers will each receive: $100 (1st Place), $75
(2nd Place), $50 (3rd Place). Top male & female finishers in the
following age categories will each receive unique prizes: 14 and
under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Awards will be based on "clock time" in the 8K Run. An award will
also be given to the top male and female survivor. No duplicate
awards.
